Creating a New Library

Prompt to Create a New Library: When you first open EndNote, you will be prompted with the option to "Create a new library." Click on this option to start creating your new library.

- Click on "File" in the menu bar.
- Select "New" from the drop-down menu.
- A default file name, "My EndNote Library," will appear. You can change this name and specify the location where you want to save your library.
- Click "Save" to create your new library.
Opening an Existing Library

Click on "File" in the menu bar.

Select "Open Library" from the drop-down menu.

Choose Your Library: Navigate to the location of your existing library file, select it, and click "Open."
