The access to the IED library print collection is not allowed due to the lockdown in the country. Once the lockdown is lifted, Patrons will be provided with the limited circulation service only on Mondays from 10:00 am. to 12:00 noon. Until then library online resources can be accessed 24/7

Library patrons can access their library account by logging into SAFARI Catalogue by visiting the link below. Your Employee/Student ID numbers (like IK123456) is your User ID and PIN in SAFARI for further details click on 'SAFARI Account'

Registered library patrons can access eBooks and online journals 24/7 via VPN from off campus

Due to physical closure of IED library, during COVID-19 pandemic, all issued items from library have been renewed till June 1, 2020. You can also check the due date online through your library accounts at SAFARI Catalogue.

• Make sure your have entered correctly, your Login ID
• Your password should be active and updated
• See if all the databases are working, except one of them. If so, wait for the temporary issue resolve from the service provider
• Check with different web browser

Yes, AKU-IED publications are available via 'eCommons@AKU' (AKU Institutional Repository)

Library patrons can only access theses abstracts via eCommons@AKU or through SAFARI Catalogue.

IED library subscribes a number of databases directly and have access to the online resources provided by HEC. However if library patrons are unable to find their required materials within our available online resources they can get help.
