The Association of Leadership Educators (ALE) is a grassroots, volunteer organization that is personal, adaptable, inclusive, and collaborative. ALE believes that collaboration and dialogue are the keys to expanding the field of leadership and developing leadership capacity. As leadership educators, our work is based on empirical knowledge and practical experience and the association promotes educational initiatives that are strategically designed to support people, organizations, and communities.

The Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development (ASCD) is dedicated to excellence in learning, teaching, and leading so that every child is healthy, safe, engaged, supported, and challenged. Comprising 114,000 members—superintendents, principals, teachers, and advocates from more than 127 countries — the ASCD community also includes 57 affiliate organizations. Our diverse, nonpartisan membership is our greatest strength, projecting a powerful, unified voice to decision makers around the world.

The British Educational Leadership, Management and Administration Society (BELMAS) is an independent voice supporting quality education through effective leadership and management. BELMAS members work as school or college leaders and academic leadership and policy researchers mostly throughout the UK but also in 75 different countries around the world. We are united by a common interest in how research and evidence can inform and enhance practice.
